Taylor Park has recently had a facelift, the local council have spent millions doing it up.
The park itself is free admittance and easy to get to as there are several buses which go past it. Its not a large park; more medium sized but there is plenty to keep the little ones happy.
It features a boating lake, adventure playground, skateboard park and lots of interesting gardens and flowers and a large playing field. Dogs are welcome too.
Lots of wild squirrels to feed in the wooded areas so be sure to take plenty of nuts!
Working toilets in the visitors centre which is always an added bonus plus by the boating lake theres a cafe where you can get a drink and snack.
